The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation's board meeting on Monday witnessed a tumultuous scene as the opposition took an aggressive stance, staging a protest against the closure of single-tender works and pending tasks post the inauguration of the Jalaram underpass. This uproar, occurring in the final board meeting before the elections, was marked by banners and objections raised by the opposition. Notably, the underpass, inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on March 4 at a cost of around 83 crores, was closed the day after its inauguration.
