A massive checking drive was conducted by the Solid Waste Management Department of North West Zone of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation from all the wards, on commercial units littering/creating nuisance on public roads. The North West Zone inspected a total of 120 units and issued notices to 95 units. 10.9 Kg. of plastic was seized and a fine of Rs 66500/- was collected.
