A complaint has been registered at the Bodakdev police station against the manager of Sankalp restaurant, located near Rajpath Club on SG Highway in the city, for embezzling Rs 24.72 lakh. The restaurant manager had not deposited the restaurant's income for the last 15 days in the account office of the company's main branch. The manager had not come to work for two days. When attention was drawn to this matter, the whole scam came to light.
