Gemar Desai, the three-time BJP corporator representing Ward No. 18 in the Surat municipality, tragically passed away this morning after suffering a heart attack at his home. Desai, a senior BJP leader and influential figure in the pastoral community, collapsed at home and was rushed to a nearby private hospital, where he was pronounced dead by attending physicians.
