The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has decided to alter school timings to alleviate the effects of the ongoing heatwave. Approximately 95% of municipal schools under the Nagar Primary Education Committee will shift their afternoon sessions to the morning. This decision will affect around 9,000 students across 425 out of 449 schools in Ahmedabad. The new timings will be in effect from April 1 to May 5.
