Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation's development expenditure witnessed a remarkable 33% increase, reaching Rs. 4556.88 crore in FY 2023-24, compared to Rs. 3425.32 crore in the previous year. This substantial investment reflects a significant boost in capital income, soaring to Rs. 3,787.78 crore, marking a 53% surge from the previous fiscal year. Additionally, revenue income for FY 2023-24 is estimated at Rs. 6307.38 crore, representing a 20% increase over the previous year.
