Significant increase in mosquito-borne diseases across Ahmedabad:
Following heavy rainfall in Ahmedabad, there has been a rise in mosquito-borne diseases in the city. Cases of diseases such as dengue, malaria, jaundice, typhoid, and cholera have increased. In just two days, the city has reported the highest number of dengue cases in September, with 393 cases. Additionally, there have been 83 cases of malaria. Among water-borne diseases, there are 268 cases of hepatitis A, 285 cases of typhoid, and 118 cases of leptospirosis. Six cases of cholera have also been reported.
