Women's Reservation Bill has been passed in Lok Sabha:
After a day-long discussion in Parliament, the Women's Reservation Bill was put to a vote in the evening at 7:30 PM, where it received overwhelming support with 454 votes in favor and 2 votes against. Hence, the bill has been passed in the Lok Sabha successfully. Today, the bill will be presented in the Rajya Sabha. After approval there, it will then go to the President for final approval. Once the President gives approval, this bill will become law.
