The municipality reintroduces its scheme offering up to a 15% rebate on advance property tax payments this year. Effective from April 9th to May 31st, the initiative aims to incentivize early tax payments. Last fiscal year, 5.18 lakh taxpayers availed this scheme, resulting in a total deposit of 679.29 crores in the municipal coffers.
