In a coordinated raid following a tip-off, the Rajkot Rural Special Operations Group apprehended Akram Rathod in possession of 5.5 kg of marijuana valued at Rs. 54,350. The accused, a truck driver, admitted to sourcing the contraband from Odisha. Legal action has been initiated by the Gondal City B Division Police.
