A bizarre incident has come to light from the Variyav area of Surat city. In a dispute over property share, an enraged widow, along with her daughter, set fire to the sugarcane crop grown by her brother-in-law in the field. The brother-in-law and his son captured the act of the sister-in-law on video. A live video of the sugarcane crop standing ready for harvest in a 7-acre field being burnt has surfaced. In this matter, a police complaint was lodged, and the police have arrested the mother-daughter duo who set fire to the field and have initiated legal proceedings.
