Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who has been in custody for 50 days, received a respite as the Supreme Court granted him interim bail until June 1. Kejriwal, held in ED custody at Tihar Jail since March 22, had challenged his arrest and sought bail to partake in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. The decision, reserved by a bench comprising Justice Dipankar Dutta and Justice Sanjiv Khanna on May 7, was announced today following a hearing on his petition.
