Completion of the first Steel Bridge on the High-Speed Rail Corridor:
For the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor, NHSRCL (National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited) has successfully constructed the first steel bridge along the national corridor. This steel bridge, measuring 70 meters in length, has been built on the national alignment. Approximately 70,000 MT of steel has been utilized in the construction of this steel bridge. The length of the steel bridge has been modified from 'Simply Supported' at 60 meters to 'Continuous' up to 130 + 100 meters. Indigenous technology and materials have been used for construction as part of the "Make in India" initiative, in line with the vision of Japan and India.
