Ahmedabad Police Commissioner issues transfer orders for 10 PIs and 56 PSIs

The Police Commissioner in Ahmedabad has issued orders for the transfer of 56 Police Sub-Inspectors (PSIs) within the city. In Gujarat, a mass transfer of police personnel occurred in the Home Department in July, where 63 PSIs and 22 Police Inspectors (PIs) were reassigned. This led to a stir in the police department, with several police officers being moved. Now, in Ahmedabad, the sudden order for the transfer of 56 PSIs has initiated discussions within the police department. The Police Commissioner has stated that these transfers are being carried out due to administrative reasons and has urged the affected officers to report to their new postings immediately.
