Foundation stone laid for the community library that is to be setup in Memnagar:
The groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a community library building in Memnagar, Ahmedabad, was performed by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. To promote a reading culture among the people of the state and increase their interest in books, the then Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi, had initiated the "Vaanche Gujarat" campaign. In line with this commitment, the Gujarat government has undertaken the construction of libraries across the state.
