In a disturbing incident, the mining mafia engaged in unlawful soil excavation on the pasture land of Kuha village, situated within the jurisdiction of Kanbha police station in rural Ahmedabad. Tragically, during a protest against this illegal activity, 52-year-old Kantiji Baraiya lost his life after being struck by a JCB. Additionally, another young individual sustained injuries in the incident. Following the incident, the police swiftly took action, arresting the JCB driver, Vipul Kalara, and the cleaner, Jeetmal Mahida, in connection with the crime.
