In the Bapod area of Vadodara, the perpetrator involved in the abduction and sexual abuse of a minor has been handed a severe punishment by the court. Lalaram Pandor, the accused in this kidnapping and rape case, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison along with a fine of 10,000. The Vadodara Court, applying the relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, has ensured justice in this case. It is noteworthy that the convicted rapist had confined the minor in a rented house in Surendranagar, subjecting her to three months of heinous acts. The question is, is really the justice served?
