AMC has initiated a proactive measure to address pending property tax issues. The property tax department has begun the process of sealing properties belonging to defaulters across various zones in the city. As of now, a total of 2,074 properties in 7 zones have been sealed, resulting in the collection of 2 crore 62 lakhs in taxes. The AMC is taking decisive action to ensure compliance with property tax payments.
