In an incident dating back two years, six individuals were apprehended at the Karjan Police Station in the Vadodara district on charges of rape and murder. Despite two of the accused being minors, they were processed through the regular court system and subsequently held in Central Jail for two years. Upon the presentation of evidence by the minors' parents, the court directed their transfer to a child protection facility and ordered the case to be reevaluated in the juvenile court, raising concerns about potential police negligence in the handling of the case.
