An eye-opening incident came to notice in Ahmedabad when the city's crime branch detained an individual in possession of 18 liters of banned NITRAZEPAM TABLETS No-49. The suspect intended to create an intoxicating cough syrup by combining the tablets with a liquid mixture which could have led to poisoning similar to ‘Latthakand’. Legal measures have been taken against the individual in connection with these illicit activities.
