The highly-discussed ‘Syrup Scandal’ has found its links in Vadodara. The post-mortem report of the deceased Natu Sodha victim to syrup consumption revealed that the cause of death was linked to methyl alcohol poisoning. Based on this information, the police filed a case against three individuals from Nadiad and two from Vadodara on the fourth day of the incident, launching a thorough investigation. Vadodara's infamous figure, Nitin Kotwani, is also implicated in the chemical scam, with a case registered against him.
