Starting from the month of March, the decision to provide free access to toilets at all bus depots across Gujarat will be enforced. The State Transport (ST) department has initiated a statewide cleanliness campaign as of today, and as part of this initiative, dustbins will be installed in all ST buses. The move aims to establish a dedicated system for maintaining cleanliness at bus stations. However, with this decision, the Gujarat government is expected to incur a monthly revenue loss of Rs 10 lakh.
