Vadodara police sub inspector Indrajitsinh Sarvaiya was caught by anti-corruption bureau (ACB) red handed for accepting a bribe of rupees 30,000 from a man who was accused in a prohibition case on 2 September in Jawaharnagar Police Station. As per the ACB report, Indrajitsinh had demanded a bribe from the accused Upendra alias Rakesh Gohil for not thrashing and beating him while in the custody. Adding to that, he had also demanded rupees 4 lakh for not taking any action against latter’s brother Mahesh alias Budiyo Gohil who was known to have been absconding in the same case. ACB said that when Gohil was released on bail, PSI continued to ask for bribe of rupees 4 lakh for not taking any action agains
