Vadodara police sub inspector Indrajitsinh Sarvaiya was caught by anti-corruption bureau (ACB) red handed for accepting a bribe of rupees 30,000 from a man who was accused in a prohibition case on 2 September in Jawaharnagar Police Station. As per the ACB report, Indrajitsinh had demanded a bribe from the accused Upendra alias Rakesh Gohil for not thrashing and beating him while in the custody. Adding to that, he had also demanded rupees 4 lakh for not taking any action against latter’s brother Mahesh alias Budiyo Gohil who was known to have been absconding in the same case.
