Forest Department of Government of Gujarat is developing a project Valley of Flowers on the bank of river Narmada as a tourist attraction. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be inaugurating the world's tallest statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on 31st October at Sardar Sarovar Narmada Dam. And the Valley of Flowers is being developed on an area of 17 km on the river bank, situated next to the statue.
