The Sanskarinagri's rank of cleanliness has been seen dwindling. And in order to tackle that, Vadodara Municipal Corporation has decided to conduct a cleaning drive ahead of the next Swachh Sarvekshan Survey. The civic body has already started with the extensive cleanliness drive to improve the situation. Vadodara was ranked 44th in the 2018 Swachhta rankings where Ahmedabad, Surat, Vapi, Gandhinagar and Rajkot have surpassed the 'cultural capital of the state'. VMC is now adamant to improve the ranking of city in the upcoming survey. 1. As per the VMC mayor, Dr Jigisha Sheth, several sanitation squads have been formed in all the wards to penalise those littering in public. 2.
