A senior couple was duped by two conmen who stole jewellery worth Rs 90,000 by promising them that they'd bring back the shine of the old ornaments.
The 65-year-old victim, Ramshankar Sharma approached Bapod police station to register the FIR.
The duo had come to their house claiming that they have an expertise in shining old utensils and ornaments. They demonstrated by shining a copper plate with a powder, to which the couple was astonished to see their old utensil transform into a new one. His wife, Neelamdevi handed them her gold chain and a gold ring and asked them to make it new.
