Today 4 prisoners were caught with mobile phones from Vadodara Central jail, and these 4 were handed over to the Raopura Police. Out of which one of the prisoner spoke with Media and busted the scam going on inside the Central jail. He alleged that if you have 'setting' inside the jail you will get all type of VIP treatment. We need to pay Rs15000 if you want to use mobile phones inside the jail if you want to get Tiffin of your choice you need to pay Rs 10000 per month. He also added that mobile phones were not caught, they voluntarily submitted at the counter. This is not the first incident were mobile phones are seized from prisoners, which raises questions on the security lapse of the central jail.
