VMSS may now use weed cutter machine to clean up water bodies.
Such machines are used in Surat and Ahmedabad. Till now in Vadodara water body cleaning is done manually which is time consuming.
Yesterday contractor bought machine at Lalbugh for trial. VMSS top officials were present when demo was given.
Issue is raised many times by residents regarding weed covering up the whole water body which makes it foul smelling chamber.
