Tonight VMSS Food Safety Department officers conducted surprise checking at food outlets at Ratribazzar which has received several complaints regarding hygiene and quality. 6 Teams were made for this inspection. Till 9:30 p.m checking at 20 shops was done and all of them got 'schedule 4' notice for unhygienic conditions. Destroyed 25 liters Water of PaniPuri and other 150 inedible food items like Manchurian, panner, sev, rice, flour etc were destroyed.
