The Deputy Commissioner of Police of Vadodara, Saroj Kumari has won the ‘Woman in Unifrom’ category of the Woman Icons of India award and she will be felicitated by Tamil Nadu governor Shri Banwari Lal Purohit on 2nd March for the same. Shri Banwari Lal Purohit is the honorary chief guest at the Woman Icons of India award ceremony which will take place in Chennai on 2nd March. DCP Saroj Kumari has got this award for her campaign Samajh Sparsh Ki, which helped sensitize children about the dos and don’ts of sexual harassment.
