Relatives of Sardar Vallabhai Patel have been called to the Rashtrapati Bhavan first time in history.
None of Sardar Vallabhai's descendants have ever gotten a chance to visit the dignitaries of the nation before. So President Ram Nath Kovind and Savita Kovind visited the statue of unity at Kevadiya dam on 15 December 2018 to 18 December 2018, they met Vallabhais family there and they were invited to the Rashtrapati Bhavan. So on 19 February 2019 eleven of his descendants visited the Rashtrapati Bhavan and spent a whole day with the President.
