The Vadodara City Police Commissioner Anupam Singh Gahlaut has issued a public circular on Wednesday banning PUBG and MOMO Challange Game for a month. The state home ministry has already issued a notification banning the mobile games in the state. This ban will be in enforcement till 12th April 2019. Citizens can contact the police if they see anyone seen playing PUBG. PUBG is an internationally famous multi-player game where players have to shoot each other down on a virtual battlefield. Reason for the ban is that games like PUBG incite violence among the players who are primarily youth and school going children, which adversely affects the education process Any adult found playing PUBG will be booked for flouting police notification under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
