It's election season - and everyone is doing their bit to spread voter awareness.
An art installation at Sarjan Art Gallery in Alkapuri, titled 'Election Mahaparav 2019- Hey Parth Tum Chunav Karo' has been created by Hitesh Rana and Chetan Parmar focuses on how important elections are to democracy.
The installation has a center of a mountain of 543 chairs, representing the number of Lok Sabha constituencies, and is surrounded by figurines that represent the diverse population of India. The installation is accompanied by a verse recited in Hindi that represents the fight to sit in the chair of power right from the time of Mahabharata to the present fight for the Lok Sabha sea
