Nikunj Soni of Nadiad has been arrested by the Crime Branch of Vadodara for allegedly blackmailing a married woman from, Vadodara and extorted a total sum of Rs. 12 lacs from her. Became friends on Facebook after which they started chatting. During the chats, he posed as a Bank Officer to gain her trust which later turned into a nightmare of blackmails for Parikh. He also threatened her of killing her son and sending screenshots of the chat to her husband. Apart from money extortion, Soni also tricked woman into making him her Power of Attorney. The Vadodara Crime Branch successfully caught hold of Soni and the case is under further investigation.
