Globalization is the way forward - quite literally when it comes to Student Exchange Programs across schools and universities around the globe. We see a lot of our students going to countries around the world, and students from around the world coming to be a part of exchange programs. These programs have been gaining importance and recognition with regards to learning about cross-cultural communication and socio-economic aspects of health and human rights. A group of 6 Canadian students spent their summer exploring India. The 6 students are currently undergoing a one month exchange program at Parul University. They have spent their summer researching and gaining knowledge through inspiring visits to Champaner, Jama Masjid, Agra Fort, Taj Mahal and Gandhi Ashram. This year’s program goes beyond cultural exchange, as it also embraces sharing of knowledge through extensive research projects, both in Indian and Canadian societies.
