The Gujarat Tourism Department is all set to begin the 1st ever River Rafting facility in Gujarat from 1st September’19 at Kevadiya Colony. This adventurous experience is an addition to the current tourism of the locality. This 5 km stretch of the river flows at 600 cusecs and also has many turning points, which will make the rafting experience a lot more exciting and adventurous. The entire course is developed by experts from Uttarakhand. More so, this stretch is majorly surround by jungle that will give the tourists a taste of wilderness. Additionally, the Chief Minister inaugurated a free WiFi facility at the Statue of Unity. The aim to make Kevadiya a total tourism centre by 15th October’19 includes introducing a 3-day package for the tourists that includes adventurous activities such as a jungle safari where animals like rhinos and giraffes will be spotted, butterfly park with vibrantly coloured butterflies, and a cactus garden with different species of cactus.
