The father-son duo, Dipendra and Binix Hande, were caught by the Vadodara Crime Branch as they had repeatedly harassed and threatened a young NRI woman for forceful marriage. The victim was living in the United States and was visiting her parents living here in the city. According to the Press Note released by the city’s Crime Branch, the victim and the culprit knew each other before she moved overseas. On her return, Binix reached out to her and blackmailed her to get married. He and his father had contacted the victim through social media as well to fulfill their agenda, to which the victim had repeatedly denied. The abusive harassment took a huge leap when the young victim was out with her mother in a car and Binix stalked them down and broke the car glass by pelting stones.
