Vadodara, the cultural capital of Gujarat, witnesses around 200 trains every day while being an important stop on the Golden Quadrilateral line that connects Mumbai and Delhi. In the last couple of years, Vadodara and its surrounding cities have gone through some major infrastructural changes in terms of beautification of railway station and bus depot, Statue of Unity at Kevadiya colony, and likewise. More so, the foundation stone for India’s 1st Rail University, that is the National Rail & Transport Institute, was laid in Vadodara on 5th Sept’18. Vadodara’s Railway Station has been equipped with the best of facilities for passengers along with adding almost 30 new trains with additional stops.
