In a recent meeting held by CM Vijay Rupani, signification suggestions were made to develop the entire Vishwamitri river banks starting from Pavagadh to the Gulf of Khambhat. With the recent floods in the city and drought-like summers in the state of Gujarat, “it is essential to devise a holistic development plan for Vishwamitri to prevent adverse effects on the people of Vadodara,” emphasized CM Rupani. Additionally, the presentation by the CM suggested VMC to chalk out a comprehensive plan that also ensures a 12-month water flow in the Vishwamitri River that eventually enhances the beauty and green cover in the city of Vadodara.
