Anju Sharma, has won many medals at the state level in rifle shooting since 2007 and also has represented India at the Open International Level. What is remarkable is that Anju is a rifle shooter and has completed 1,750 km by cycling, within just 3 months to widen the awareness of PM's Fit India Campaign. Anju had joined NCC in 2007 and had taken up rifle shooting and won many medals in 10-meter and 50-meter rifle shooting. She was the only female rifle shooter from Gujarat who participated in the 300-meter competition. Having received many medals in the Nationals, she next wanted to represent India in the international level of rifle shooting and won medals for the same.
