The police atrocities in the country have escalated like the coronavirus cases. Every day we hear about the medical workers and police being pelted with stone and being spat on. They are appointed for the safety of the citizens and to keep the law and order in check, but instead, they are being attacked by mobs, putting them at risk. The citizens of the country have to realize that the police are there for them, for their safety, for their security. They are on-duty in this scorching sun and trying their best to keep us safe from an invisible virus and are themselves falling prey to the virus. Recently, in Vadodara, attackers were arrested on Monday, for pelting the Karelibaug Police Station cops. A group had assembled in Kasamhala Mosque for their ‘sehri’ ritual, which is a meal consumed during the early morning before starting the Ramzaan fast.
