The presence of humanity in these tough times is what makes a person more human. While the world battles and divides itself on the basis of caste, creed, religion, in Vadodara, few Muslim neighbors in Navayard performed the last rites of an 85-year-old Hindu man on behalf of his family, who had passed away and his family members could not perform the last rites due to the lockdown. They wore masks as a precautionary measure against the coronavirus and helped in making arrangements for the deceased's last rites and carried his body on their shoulders to the cremation ground. They have indeed set an example in society stating that no matter what one's religion is, it's the act of the human that matters.
