Abandoning lavish wedding, Amit son of readymade garments store owner Vedprakash Arya and Puja tied the knot with Kanchan daughter of bakery businessman Prakashbhai and Manisha on Thursday with Sindhi rituals at Arya Samaj Hall in Warasiya amid lockdown. Amit and Kanchan were prepared for the wedding since both their families had booked Party plot for it and even ordered the printing of invitation cards. However, due to lockdown, they had to drop the plan of a lavish wedding. In view of the situation, both sides agreed to organize the marriage ceremony at Arya Samaj Hall.
They reached out to local councilor Purshotam Hemnani to receive permission from the Collector office. District collector gives permission on condition of 20 people attending the marriage and everyone follows government guidelines.
