Wildlife Rescue Trust's volunteers rescued an 8.5-foot crocodile from Kelanpur village which is near Vadodara. On early Friday morning, the volunteers had laid a cage and trapped the crocodile in it. More cages have been set to catch other crocodiles present in that area.
According to the details provided by Arvind Pawar, the President of Wildlife Rescue Trust, he received a call from Sarpanch of Kelanpur village about the presence of three big crocodiles in the nearby lake. These crocodiles roam freely and stray inside the fields, which scared the farmers and forced themselves to stay inside.
