The use of sanitizers has increased in this pandemic and crooks are making duplicate sanitizers and other items to make money overnight. Earlier also, similar scams of making duplicate sanitizers have been exposed from various cities of Gujarat. Now, Vadodara police have busted the racket of duplicate sanitizers. Vadodara Sama Police while patrolling received information about a man, Anil Trilokchand Mittal running a scam of duplicate sanitizers in his godown. He is a resident of one of the societies in New Sama Road. Based on this information, the Sama Police team raided the godown at Ankur Plaza and found him preparing duplicate sanitizer. He is into cosmetic business and sold duplicate sanitizers filled in bottles and big plastic containers. The police recovered a loose quantity of sanitizers, chemicals, raw materials and packed items from the godown of total Rs. 7,07,760.
