The Vadodara City Congress led by President Prashant has given a public memorandum to the Municipal Commissioner demanding facilities to citizens facing problems including roads, drainage, and contaminated water in the city. He mentioned that people are paying three times more tax than other cities in Gujarat, but the corporation has failed miserably. He pointed out the condition of the roads in the city which is reducing the lifespan of people's vehicles. They demanded punishment for the corrupt and they also shouted slogans against the administration. The memorandum alleges that the city is plagued with stagnant and foul-smelling water which has created fear amongst the public regarding water-borne diseases along with the on-going pandemic.
