''Khada Saptah' (Pit Week) program was launched by the City Congress in the wake of potholes on the city roads during the rains. A tree was also planted in one of the pits at Old Padra Road and issued a challenge to the corporation to calculate the pits. Congress President Prashant Patel, leader of the opposition Chandrakant Srivastav, Congress Corporators, office bearers and activists were present at Malhar Point Char Rasta, Old Padra Road to protest against potholes on road. They held placards and shouted slogans against the BJP and held a symbolic protest by planting saplings inside the pits.
