A 22-day-old baby has recently been discharged from the pediatric ward of Gotri Hospital and returned home after recovering from COVID-19. Pediatrician of Gotri Hospital, Prof. Dr. Nimisha Pandya said that young children are less likely to get coronavirus because of the low ACE-2 receptor. Hence, they do not get infected quickly. She further added that during the initial corona transition, they used to admit all the young pediatric patients, but now as per the government's guidelines the children are provided with home isolation. If the child develops a severe symptom, then they are admitted to the hospital's COVID ICU. Co-Professor of the pediatric ward at Gotri Hospital and Nodal Off
