Gokulbhai Dattatray Patil, a resident of Brahman Falia in Fatepura Kalupura of the city, died while undergoing treatment for corona at Gotri Hospital. The family members have alleged that death was due to negligence of the hospital. They not only pressured the hospital for Gokulbhai's body to be taken home for the funeral but also threatened to stay in the hospital. However, due to COVID -19 guidelines, the hospital conducted proceedings for the funeral. The son of the deceased said that his father was admitted to a private hospital in the Kalupur area as he had a respiratory ailment. Due to the non-availability of oxygen facilities at the hospital, he was then taken to Gotri Hospital on Sunday, as his health was deteriorating. As per guidelines, his Corona test was conducted.
