An application was submitted to the District Collector by Vadodara Swayam Sainik Dal seeking death sentence for the accused involved in the Hathras rape incident in Uttar Pradesh and the accused in the murder of a Dalit social worker in Rapar. They threatened to intensify their agitation in case their demands are not met by the administration and seek justice in both incidents.
On September 14, a 19-year-old woman had gone to the fields with her mother and went missing soon after. She was found later, beaten and tortured, and her tongue cut. Protests broke out in several parts of the country with many voicing their opinions over the horrific incident and how the funeral was conducted.
Swayamsevak Dal Workers arrived at the District Collector's Office in the morning to give a memorandum. Maintaining social distancing the activists chanted slogans demanding justice for the rapist in Hathras and the murder of a social worker at Rapar. They gave a memorandum to the Collector later
